I earned a BFA Degree in Graphic Design from William Paterson University of New Jersey - 2008. My interests and hobbies are drawing/illustration, reading, movies, and personal fitness. One of my career goals is to work as a graphic designer for a cutting-edge creative company. I also plan to further develop a multimedia project I presented as my Senior Thesis Project for my BFA Degree. In addition, I’d like to create and develop other similarly ambitious projects using a variety of techniques incorporating illustration in both 2-D and 3-D. I have experience working as a freelance artist both as a consultant, and as an artist from conceptual design to the finished product.
Many things have influenced my approach toward both graphic design and the fine arts. Some of it is derived from my interests in history and music, as well as inspiration from works by other artists. In addition to creations from my imagination, I also draw on various musical influences from a wide variety of genres, as well as from literature, and nature. I find that reading and listening to music have both stimulated my creative thinking process.
Much of my artwork delves into subjects in science fiction and fantasy; however, this does not mean that these are the only subjects I am capable of rendering. I have studied many traditional subjects; including still-life, nature, the human figure, etc. I have also worked in various mediums; including pen and ink, graphite, charcoal, conte, pastels, acrylic, watercolor and oil paints, clay, wood, mixed media, traditional and digital photography, various graphics computer programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) and page layout programs such as InDesign and Quark Xpress.
